Denmark Avanthika chilli variety — thrips-tolerant, bunched fruiting

Summary

• Farmer Jagrata Lakshman (Charthand mandal, Narsallapeta, Mahbubabad) cultivated 2 acres of Denmark Agri Seeds 'Avanthika' chilli, expecting 30-35 quintals/acre yield.
• Variety tolerates black thrips, mites, leaf curl, root/stem rot and shows no fruit spotting — clean three-stage crop with ripe, green and flowering branches together.
• Used 2 packets per acre at ~50-day-old transplanting, plant height ~4 feet, sprays Delegate, Sivanto, Gracia, Cyprosema biweekly.
• Seed purchased at Kisan Nagri Mall (Khammam); fellow farmers in his area planting same variety with similar results — expected market grade 'jhanda paatu' (top grade).
